Incentives, Prize Pools, and FlyWheel

Narrativ’s moat compounds because incentives are tied to contribution.

Prize pools#

A portion of:
platform fees (including market-related fees), and
downstream data revenue
is routed into recurring prize pools.

Eligibility#

Access to prize pools requires Minimum Data Sharing (MDS). Users can still participate in markets without meeting MDS, but prize pool access is reserved for contributors. This aligns rewards with the growth of the permissioned data network.

Why it compounds#

Users are not “selling data once.” They are continuously rewarded for:
contributing denser, multi-domain, permissioned data over time, and
participating in platform loops that make indices more valuable.

The flywheel#

More users → more curated permissioned data → higher-quality indices → deeper products and markets → larger prize pools → more users
As the network grows, high-signal data concentrates inside Narrativ, while alternative access paths that bypass permission diminish. That concentration is what becomes difficult to replicate.
